The Center for Strategy and Development (CSD) is pleased to announce the registration to the online training course on “International Sanctions Compliance”
Course Objective: Within the framework of the course, supported by the U.S Department of State, participants will learn about existing international sanctions, compliance, methods and tools utilized in best-practice cases. The course will contribute to the development of the knowledge and skills necessary to detect and deter active sanctions evasion activities and be designed for vetted sanctions compliance, export control compliance, security officers, researchers and relevant stakeholders.
Who is eligible for the course: The course targets two countries, Armenia and Azerbaijan. Everyone, based in Armenia, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, who is interested in sanctions compliance, can register for the training course.
Cost: The course is free of charge.
Course Description: The training course consists of 5 modules (video lessons, reading material consisting of self-assessment test and final assessment). Registered participants will be able to start the course after registration, for 8 weeks, and during its course, the user chooses the training hours themselves. To move on to the next module, it is necessary to pass the self-assessment test for each module. To ensure the widest possible audience, all course materials will be available into four (4) languages: Armenian, Azerbaijani, English, and Russian.
Course Outcomes: Upon successful completion of the course, participants will have both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to effectively identify and counter international sanctions compliance, to detect illicit actions and deter active sanctions evasion activities related to their sector-specific job operations.
Registration is possible from September 29 to October 20, and selected participants can start the study process after receiving a confirmation email. The course will be available until November 29.
